I put a lit candle out of Josh's reach, but apparently not in a very stable place. With a bump of the table, the candle came down onto the carpet spilling red wax everywhere! Yikes!
So, after ironing and ironing the spot with brown paper bags, so soak up the wax, there was still quite a bit of red. 3 bottles of Goo Gone (amazing stuff) later, and with sore fingers, we got it all out. I wasn't sure it would happen, but you can't even tell. Well, couldn't.
The warning on the label says that the Goo Gone and also remove the glue holding the carpet down. Well, whether or not it came unglued or it just was stretched out from our 4 hours of scrubbing, we now have a nice wrinkle in our carpet there. A fluffy wrinkle. Not cool. Oh, life!

Oh man...that stinks!!! Seth spilled some on himself and a little on my floor last year. luckily it didn't burn him but was no fun to get out of the carpet or clothes. Glad you got it out though...more messes to come with boys...oh joy. :)
