We had a play date on Friday at the pool at the Wellness Center.  And the boys had the most fun playing with this pink tea set.  :-)

My Little Preacher

 Hudson was just swinging away, happy as can be. 

 And along came Josh with his Bible.  "I'm telling him about God!" he said. 

 Josh was reading to him from the Bible.  Well, he was reciting his memory verse for Hudson anyway. 

 Then he had to go get his step.  Maybe he thought he'd look more official that way. 

I think Hudson enjoyed listening to him and watching him.

And I did too!

Where's Josh?

Hudson woke up, and on my way to get him, I looked in Josh's room to see if he was asleep yet.  But I didn't see him anywhere in his room.  So looking to to make sure I didn't step on the mess in front of his door, I found him.  Yes, this is where Josh took his nap that day.  

Potty Training

Josh is doing so well with his potty training!  Thanks to some advice from Becky Dirks, we've found a way that works!  And after filling up his sticker chart after a little more than 2 days (12 stickers!) we went out for ice cream today.  Just me and him!  (Thanks Grace for watching Hudson)

Now, to work on naps, over night, and out in public!

Strolling (or Teeter Tottering) Down Memory Lane

 After visiting the Ledges, we went over to visit a park in Boone.

 And there we found the old teeter totter that Joe use to play on as a kid. 

 I should have taken a picture of the whole thing, but it's a 4-way teeter totter.

And here he is 20-25 years later. 

More Fun with Family at the Park

 Hudson enjoyed being held by Grandpa and Grandma and even his Aunt and Uncle. 

 That's about as exciting as it gets for this little guy.  But that is pretty exciting!

 Joshua got to enjoy the playground!

 He LOVES going down the slide. 

A Beautiful Walk

 The road at the Ledges was closed for the winter (and due to flooding), so we walked down. 

 Going down was easy, but coming back up was a different story.

 At the bottom, we took a little time to watch the clouds.  They would disappear halfway through the sky.  It was beautiful!

 And of course, by the end of the walk, these two were out!  And they didn't even have to walk back up the hill!

Family!!

We met my family at the Ledges State Park near Boone for a picnic!  It was a beautiful day!

 We hung out...

 ...ate some food...

 ...and played a little football!

 I think Joshua enjoyed playing with his cousins!

Conversations with Josh

Josh: My tummy is awake.
Mommy: What does it need?
Josh: It needs some food on it.

And now, as I type this, he's trying to give his tummy a kiss.  It's not quite working, but he sure is trying.

Walking Duke

 Josh discovered that it was fun to take Duke for a walk around the living room with his rope. 

 Poor Duke just wanted to play tug.

 I love how good Duke is with Josh and Hudson.  What a good dog.
