I don't understand how he can make such a huge mess!  Ok, maybe I can, but why?

Boys will be boys I guess.  I'm gonna have so much fun with the two of them!

Good Works

Christ has given us salvation (for those who have placed their faith in Him) so that we might do "Good Works"  Ephesians 2:10, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works..."

I realized that when I am not patient with my stubborn little boy, I am not doing a good work.  But when I am patient and lovingly teach and discipline him, that is a good work.  Its not only the big things that glorify God as a believer, but by my attitude as I raise my children in the privacy of my own home, I can do "Good Works" that glorify God.  He's not asking me to do amazing things, just honor him in the way I conduct my life.  Even if only He sees my good works, He is glorified. 

My "Good Works" goal:  Patience!     Then I have a long list to tackle after that.  Phil 1:6, "And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ."  I'm just a work in progress. 

Tire Swing

 Joshua loves the tire swing and Grandma and Grandpa's farm. 

 He might have even enjoyed it more that the tractor ride!

 Looking back, maybe I shouldn't have let them put him on the table.  Oops!  But he sure had fun!  Those boys spoil him!

The Candy Table...and More

 In the Retreat Center we stayed at, we were welcomed with a table of candy to snack on all week.  I should have taken a before picture, but this is the after picture...after 10+ people were eating on it all week.  And I mean eating, not snacking.  :-)  Yes, it was great...a great temptation.  Glad it's gone now, but I do miss it. 

 Josh had trouble not being tempted by it all week too.  He heard "no" a lot!  Poor kid.  But he did get quite a bit.  We weren't that mean. 

 We had fun playing in the sand at the volleyball court.  I think he had more fun playing with the ball though. 

Jumbo Dog

 Joe had fun going on the Jumbo dog with the boys.  Kinda. 

 Except for the fact that they fell off 7 or 8 times,

 and spent more time in te water than they did actually on the Jumbo Dog.

New Outfit

 Hudson is so cute sporting his new outfit from his Aunt Amy and Uncle Jeff.

Josh wanted his picture taken too.

I don't think he realizes how big he is.

The Climbing Wall and Gaga Ball

 Joshua had fun on the playground at camp. 

 He even attempted the climbing wall. (not the one for big kids though)

 And to my surprise, after a few tries, he made it up all on his own!

 The  boys had fun entertaining him as well.  (no, they didn't spend the whole week playing with Joshua, just here and there)

 And there's Gaga Ball.  A big  hit at camp.  And there's Joe, joining in on the fun. 

But only for a minute because he got out right away.  I think the kids were ganging up on him.
